Stok, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (hereinafter, “we”, “us”, “our” or “Stok”) may collect and process personal data relating to you when you visit (hereinafter, “the website”). This Policy describes how we collect and process personal data about you through the website.

This Policy does not apply to services we perform offline for you or our clients, nor does this Policy apply where we have signed a separate agreement with you to perform or receive services.

We may update this Policy from time to time; we will notify you by changing the “Last Updated” date above or by emailing you at the address you provide us; please check this website periodically for updated Policies. If you do not agree with this Policy, you may not use this website.

1. Collecting Your Personal Data

For example, we share your email address with our marketing service providers if you opt into communications from us. We may share your job application with talent acquisition service providers. We use a third-party hosting provider that processes but does not see your personal data.

Whenever we rely on such third parties, we make sure that they provide an adequate level of protection to the personal data they process on our behalf. When subject to the EU’s General Data Protection Law, we enter into European Model Clauses as adopted by the European Commission.

This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

4. Retention of Your Personal Data

If you are an existing client, we will keep your personal data as long as our contractual and/or business relationship lasts. If you are a prospect with no established contractual and/or business relationship, we will not keep your data for longer than three (3) years after you last contacted us.
If you are a job candidate, please note that if you are not hired, we will delete the information you shared with us at the latest two (2) years after you shared the information.
Finally, the personal data we may collect for the security, maintenance, and improvement of our website will not be kept longer than one (1) year after collection.

5. Your Rights

If prescribed by applicable law, you have the right to access the personal data we have about you and know what personal data we have collected about you in the past 12 months.

You can also request that your personal data be rectified or deleted. You are entitled as well to object to the processing of your personal data or to request restriction thereof. In addition, you have the right to ask for your personal data in a standard portable format.

We also take measures to ensure service providers that process personal data on our behalf also have appropriate security controls in place.

Stok cannot guarantee the security of your personal data because unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of personal data. Any account you have that is protected by a password is for your privacy and security. You are solely responsible for ensuring that there is no unauthorized access to your account.

7. Third-party Websites

Stok’s website may provide links to third-party websites. Stok does not make any representations or warranties with respect to such third-party websites. You should be aware that the owners and operators of such third-party websites might collect, use or transfer personal data under different terms and conditions than Stok. Upon linking to a third-party website, you should inform yourself of the privacy policies of such third-party websites.

We operate in and use service providers located in the United States. If you are located outside the U.S., your personal data may be transferred to the U.S. The U.S. does not provide the same legal protections guaranteed to personal data in the European Union. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from anyone under the age of 16. No one under age 16 may provide any personal data to us on the website.
