As Director of People and Culture, Madeleine plays a leading role in shaping and maintaining Stok’s culture, which directly supports Stok's team in finding creative and effective pathways for our clients to decarbonize now. Engaged team members lead to stronger organizational performance, and when coupled with Stok’s goal to decarbonize now, we see sustainable endurance towards meaningful change. ON REIMAGINING THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT:
“The way I am reimagining the built environment has less to do with external structures and more to do with internal ones: the processes and systems in place within our organization that lead to attracting, growing, and engaging top talent. These structures are designed to create mastery, autonomy, and purpose so that our built environment experts can show up as their fullest selves. My focus is on this internal space rather than the external built environment; however, my work can be felt indirectly through our workforce on the built environment at large.”
