ON REIMAGINING THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT:
“I am reimagining the built environment by emphasizing intentional design, leveraging natural synergies, and prioritizing resource-efficient solutions. A successful built environment is an accessible environment that allows people and nature to thrive—one where holistic strategies impart more good (not ‘less-bad’) and foster health and collaboration. My professional goal is helping the community at large recognize the collective value of investing in the triple bottom line. ”
ON A FUTURE THEY WANT TO LIVE IN:
“I want to live in a future that focuses on the triple bottom line as a default—not as an exception. My hope is for widespread implementation of policies and innovative thinking that promotes long-term investment, adoption of renewable energy, and regenerative and sustainable systems, materials, infrastructure, and water resources. I want a future that is accessible, resilient, embraces nature’s genius through biomimetic principles, and enriches communities by amplifying diverse voices and calibrating for social justice issues.”
