In this installment of Wit and Wisdom for Well-Being, we bring you: patience. Patience is a virtue. This is likely not the first time you’ve seen this phrase.
With COP27 wrapped, here are key announcements and agreements from the conference.
One topic of urgent and primary focus at COP has been around how and who will finance the changes of climate change. The general mood around GFANZ (Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net-Zero), a group of the world’s largest financial institutions which pledged at COP26 in Glasgow to finance their own and their assets’ net zero transition, is not optimistic based upon current progress, despite the grand plans.
In this installment of Wit and Wisdom for Well-Being, we bring you: fractal patterns and why they can help reduce stress! People are more driven by a sense of purpose than we often assume. Think about those that work for non-profit organizations, those who donate time and resources to help others in need, even parents that sacrifice their own needs to ensure their children want for nothing. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines Health as “a state of physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity,” meaning that if a person is not “sick” it doesn’t necessarily mean that they are “healthy” or “well” because there’s always room for improvement.
